Power failures can threaten people's lives or incur significant costs due to business interruptions or loss of data. Besides, there are legal provisions requiring an emergency power supply. Emergency power stations are therefore used in hospitals, public transport networks (e.g. subway networks, airports), data centres and, of course, in production plants.

The use of emergency generators ensures electric power supply in the event of power outages as well. Diesel engines have proven their effectiveness for supplying emergency power and therefore they are commonly used for the temporary supply of electricity. K & W emergency power generators can be found in hospitals, airports, data centres, subway networks and transmitter systems.

From planning to commissioning

Right from the start our experts offer you professional advice to optimally plan your plant. We support you in your initial planning, then the project is visualised by our own 3D CAD specialists, allowing all customer-specific factors to be taken into account.

In addition to the engine-generator unit, we also take care of everything that goes with it: The cabinet technology, including wiring, the tank and the exhaust system, the air technology and, on request, also the complete steel construction.

We ensure the implementation of all required approvals, and perform commissioning. We offer training for employees to safeguard the proper operation of the system and ensure compliance with the guarantee. The services on offer also include maintenance, repair as well as complete overhauls of diesel engines.
